zWAM-Zune Wide Application Menu

Version: (Beta) v.0.0.1

Creators/Contribut0rs:

HDRobot(programmer/Creator), Dooglehead(main-man, alpha release), KawaCoder(Helper guy-thingy, jk, we love you), thedarkestzune(app collector), ducktape333(stalker), SteppingSplash(advertiser), DJAlmix(Graphics Mangaer/Designer), and thank you to EVERYONE who posted positive comments that encouraged the zWAM team to create this app for you. Also, thank you to everyone who donated their app, you made this happen.

Description:

zWAM is an app mainly focused towards those users who find the resetting of the ZuneHD antagonizing. This app contains multiple apps, created by other users, within it. Each app has its own personal thumbnail and creator, aswell as licensing stated. zWAM is mainly based off, and looks similar to, the iTouch menu.

NOTE: There is no source for this game because it is a Beta release. We feel that having multiple copies of this game created BEFORE release can cause uncontrolled center sourced apps. The source code WILL be release during final release.

Instructions:

-The top two arrow bars facing left and right allow you to navigate between “sets” of apps. The amount of apps will improve as users donate their creations.

-The bottom arrow facing up can be pressed once close down the time and battery meter menu. It can be pressed twice to open up the menu again.

-Pressing on the given thumbnail of an app will navigate you to that apps game(note: some apps DO have to load). To leave a game/app, either press 4 fingers on the screen, or, if given, use the “Exit” button.

-To start the app, Press the large thumbnail in the center of the screen that says “zWAM” and below it it says: “Beta”.

Very good idea. I have a few problems tho.
#1) There doesn’t seem to be a way to lose in ClockTwoer Climb
#2) My Clock is about 3 hours off (I’m on the East coast so it may be a time zone issue). I check the time on my zune and it is correct so I’m not sure what the problem may be.
#3) Make this available for all apps. I’m not sure if this is even possible but I know you can access songs through an app so I figure there might be a way to access other apps but I don’t actually know. This would make things much easier because then we wouldn’t have to update every time you release more apps attached to it and all of our other homebrew apps would work the same.

Very good application thus far, I have very high hopes for later releases of this app. Good job!

Can you get this to open one of the Microsoft made apps? So that we can go to that and when we press home, the ZHD doesn’t have to restart.

It would not be possible to access Microsoft apps. It is only capable of running apps that are in the program, so the source code must be provided by the creator of the app and they would have to give permission for it to be included in this menu.

This is a great concept and I’m really impressed with it.

Will it be possible to add more apps to it in the final version, or would it require updates that include the new apps?

Is there any way to add more apps to the ZWAM? It has spots that say “Your App Here” but I haven’t found a way to add things to the list.

Okay. HEY everybody. Finally got my account to work. Anyway, for those that are looking into the future of this app, thanks. Yes, I know there are some bugs but the WILL be fixed soon.

Atleast look forward to the next update wich will include zune HD UI and a few more apps. We are experiencing trouble with unloading content of the apps at the moment, but once that is through we are good as gold! :)

    Very nice app.
It would be nice if the users could install other Third Part Apps into zWAM.
    Other than that, great app.

Guitar Tuner doesn’t work, also the clock at the top of the menu seems to be couple hrs off and if pressing the menu bottong from anyone of the apps the zune hd restarts right away (It will be cool to have all this things fixed and also to put on the empty spots our fav apps and to have a custom background if possible or just change it to black to keep the zune hd style)
