Magic™ Life Counter

The Magic™ Life Counter is a simple App for the Zune HD that allows you to keep track of your life in a game of Magic the Gathering™.

Current Features:

Start at 20 life
Ability for infinitely large and small amounts of life (at least as far as you would ever want to go)
Reset Life to 20
Increase/Decrease life with tap
Increase/Decrease life with extended hold

Planned Features:

Increase/Decrease life with scroll
Multiplayer score keeper
Counter Tracker
Menu’s

Controls:

This App is really easy to use. Just tap the top half of the screen to increase life or the bottom half to reduce life. This reduces the life by 1. If you hold the top or bottom down it will increase periodically. Tapping the mana symbols at the top will cause the game to reset to 20 life.

What is Drum Machine HD? Basically its a drumming app. You can arrange and use virtual drums on your touchscreen. Nothing less and nothing more.

Features:

160 sound samples
7 different drum types (kickbass, tom, snare, hihat, crash, ride, misc)
automated drumrolls
metronome (visual + audio, 40-340 bpm)
DiscoLight Feature
record and playback
arrange/resize and customize your drums
volume options to adjust song playback volume levels
dynamic drumset. Create your own arrangements. No limits other than screensize

Simpsons Soundboard

Half of the apps in the iPhone app store are stupid soundboards. Why shouldn’t the Zune have a few? I probably won’t make any more of these, as finding the content is a real pain, but if you go to my site you can get all the code. Just replace the wav and png files with your own, and edit SoundPanel.cs to point to them.

Touch the phrase you want to play it (makes you miss an external speaker, oh well).
The UI is my attempt to reproduce the standard Zune UI. The normal up/down/left/right movements you expect will all work.
The top text doesn’t do anything. Hit the Home key to exit.
The settings panel allows you to change the volume of the sound effects (relative to the current device volume).
You can also sort the sounds by who said them.
Don’t use the side volume button! For some reason I haven’t been able to figure out, the touch sometimes stops responding. I’m not sure why, my other apps don’t seem to have a problem.
The content is all taken off the internet. They are all short samples and I figure they won’t mind too much.

Essentially, Scholastic Bowl is a competition in which you are asked question on a variety of topics, this little game that I have made simply asks those questions, as of right now there are about 1400 questions.

Touch Touch

For those Ipod tough owners or anybody that has seen one played this game probably looks really similar to tap tap.

Controls: Kind of like guitar hero except you tap the notes when they hit the bottom circles.

Number Guess

This is a simple number guessing game. It picks a random number between 20 and 2500 and then picks a number between 1 and that number. It will ask you to guess the number, and it will tell you if it is higher or lower than your guess. A point is added to your score after every guess, so lower scores are better than higher scores.

Updated 3/3/10: This game has new graphics thanks to stampede247 on zuneboards.

Soda

You shake up the soda by moving your Zune HD up and down.
After about 30 shakes, the camera zooms out, and the soda blasts open.
There is a button to play again.
